Looking for vendors for the 2013 Farmer's Market season. We are looking to expand our market, anyone interseted please contact market manager Terrry Carling 607-589-7367. The Farmer's Market opens June 8th - Oct. 1st on Saturdays from 9am-1pm rain or shine, located pond side across from the Spencer Fire Dept.
Beginning Monday, January 7th 2013, Van Etten Library will be open Mondays 1-5pm, Wednesdays 1-7pm and Saturdays 11am-5pm
Every Saturday from 1-3pm @ Van ETten Library. Adults & Teens! Artists, knitters, sewers, carvers, and all other creative types welcome! Bring your project, work & socialize at the library's weekly open studio. Beginners welcome! Local artist Faye Crance is on hand to help you. Event is free and sponsored in part by !nspire, the S-VE community group.
INSPIRE, S-VE, Inc., is in the middle of their May Mini-Grant Program. The Board of Directors welcomes applications from groups or individuals needing financial assistance for activities or programs that they consider will better our community or schools in the Spencer/Van Etten school district area. New Spencer - Van Etten Community Calendar Project
S-VE.com.is now the home an unprecedented, cooperative effort by local media and organizations to provide a robust, interactive, searchable, on-line community calendar for the Spencer – Van Etten community with hundreds of events posted. The goal is to have local citizens benefit from the breadth of event listings in one location and have local organizations use it when they are scheduling an event to avoid conflicts.

has been established which will send an event listing email to Haefele TV Channel 4, The Broader View Weekly newspaper, The Random Harvest newspaper, S-VE.com, The Ithaca Journal, The Candor Statement, The Owego Pennysaver and other media outlets simultaneously. S-VE.com will post events in the calendar within 24 hours on business days. Also, any event or bulletin sent directly to Haefele TV is also being forwarded to S-VE.com.
The Town of Spencer Planning Board's regular monthly meeting will occur at 7:30 PM at Town Hall, 79 E. Tioga St., Spencer, NY. Regular Planning Board meetings are scheduled on the fourth Monday of every month.
